MANILA, Philippines (Dec. 23, 2024) — The Manila Arduino Fabrication Laboratory announced Monday a ₱1 million investment to enhance its prototyping capabilities, positioning 2025 as a pivotal year for innovation among its research and development partners.

The funding will go toward upgrading equipment, improving facilities, and integrating advanced technologies to support researchers and startups in their quest to develop groundbreaking projects.

“This investment shows our serious commitment to advancing innovation in the Philippines,” said Kang Lee, Business Development Head for Manila Arduino. “With upgraded prototyping capabilities, we aim to provide the most advanced tools for collaboration and development in the country.”

The initiative is expected to benefit academic institutions, tech startups, and independent researchers who rely on Manila Arduino’s resources to build and test new technologies. The enhancements will focus on faster prototyping, improved precision, and expanded capacity for complex designs.

Manila Arduino’s move comes as the global tech industry demands more efficient development cycles and access to cutting-edge tools. The fabrication lab has positioned itself as a key player in providing affordable, accessible prototyping solutions in the country.
